Pretty good value, worked fine with Home Assistant once Tuya cloud was set up, I can control it locally even without internet. The switch has a nice click feel and the rotary dial is nice too. This is my second purchase, I’ve replaced a few more switches with this one. It is pretty nice to have a dimmer controller and the physical control on a single unit.
The switch is pretty good, the clicking feeling for on/off function is solid, and smooth turning left/right to adjust brightness. I used the Tuya app, which can be a bit tricky if you want to use Bluetooth to set it up first, at least on my Pixel 6 running Android 13, the app doesn’t detect Bluetooth on my phone is switched on. I used the second method to configure the device directly via WIFI, and it worked, as long I made all my wireless APs work in 2.4ghz first as using 2.4 and 5ghz at the same time on the same SSID doesn’t work. I registered Tuya with Home assistant, everything works really well, the dimmer is very responsive and works even without internet connection once properly set up in home assistant via the Tuya integration. For the price I think this is very good value, fitting UK light boxes perfectly well.
