Description

Samotech offers 3D design and printing services for custom light switch covers, smart button adapters, and retrofit brackets that fall outside our standard product range. Useful where an existing UK or EU switch plate needs a one-off solution – non-standard switch dimensions, unusual back-box configurations, or aesthetic customisations to match a specific interior.

What we can produce

• 3D printing from your existing STL files
• Custom 3D design based on photos and measurements of your switch plate or component
• Bespoke adapters bridging Hue, IKEA TRADFRI, or similar smart dimmers to non-standard UK or EU wall plates
• Replacement parts for items no longer in our catalogue where we still hold the design files

A range of filament colours and standard print materials is available – get in touch for current options if you have a specific colour or surface requirement.

How it works

Lead time and price depend on complexity: simple single-part prints from a supplied STL can be quoted within 24 hours, while custom designs typically need a short back-and-forth on dimensions and intended use before printing.

Before ordering, please get in touch with photos and measurements of your existing switch and a brief description of the end-use. That way we can confirm feasibility and give you an accurate quote before you commit to the purchase.
