The SM323-WF is Samotech’s smart WiFi rotary dimmer for UK homes. Push to toggle, rotate to dim – the familiar feel of a traditional wall dimmer, now with app and voice control. Pairs directly with your home router through Tuya Smart or Smart Life, so no hub or bridge is required. The dimmer also fits two-wire UK lighting circuits without a neutral connection at the switch.
Smooth dimming for LED, halogen, and incandescent loads up to 200W. Build schedules, scenes, and timers from your phone, and use Alexa or Google Home voice routines to dim individual rooms or whole-house lighting at once. Available in multiple plate and knob combinations across 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-gang configurations.

Installation
The SM323-WF replaces an existing dimmer or rotary switch in a standard UK single back box. The dimmer module measures 64 × 27 × 24 mm and sits behind the faceplate. We recommend a 35mm-deep back box for comfortable wiring and cable routing.
Wiring is simple – live (L) in and switched live (SL) out, with no neutral connection at the switch. Push-fit terminals accept 1.0 mm² or 1.5 mm² stranded or solid wire without tools or a screwdriver.
After power-up, pair the dimmer with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz WiFi. 5 GHz-only networks are not supported – most dual-band routers broadcast both bands by default. Pairing usually completes in 30–60 seconds, after which the dimmer appears in the app and any linked voice assistant.
Bulb compatibility
Works with trailing-edge dimmable LED bulbs (up to 200W total load), dimmable halogen, and incandescent lamps. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not work and may flicker, buzz, or fail. For best LED performance we recommend trailing-edge dimmable bulbs from Philips, Osram, or LumiLEDs. Check the Bulbs Compatibility Matrix tab on this page for a verified bulb list. Installing this WIFI dimmer is a walk in the park since it only requires two wires, not three. Its performance is commendable, and the old-fashioned design is a nice touch. Overall I am very happy with the dimmer.
