Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Gledopto Zigbee LED Controller do?

The GL-C-002P is a 5-in-1 Zigbee LED controller — it works as an LED Dimmer, RGB controller, RGBW controller, RGBCCT controller, or CCT (tunable white) controller depending on your strip type. Pair it to your Zigbee hub and you can dim, change colours, and adjust colour temperature on connected LED strips through your smart-home app or via voice.

Which LED strip types does the controller support?

The controller supports five strip configurations: single-colour dimmable LED, RGB, RGBW (with independent W channel), RGBCCT, and CCT (tunable white). The W channel operates independently of the RGB channels — control them via the app or a dedicated RGBW remote.

What input voltage and power output does the controller support?

Input voltage: 5–24V DC. Maximum power: 144W. The power supply is not included — pair the controller with an appropriate constant-voltage LED power supply matching your strip’s voltage and wattage requirements.

Which platforms is the LED Controller compatible with?

The controller uses Zigbee 3.0 and is compatible with all Zigbee 3.0 hubs, including the Philips Hue Bridge, Tuya gateways, Samotech hubs, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and others.

What size is the LED Controller?

The controller is ultra-slim at just 70 × 36 × 10 mm and weighs 23.5g — it fits discreetly inside profile housings or near the power supply, almost invisible after installation.

What are the operating conditions?

The controller is designed for indoor use within an operating temperature range of -20°C to +40°C. Pair it with an appropriately rated LED power supply for your environment.

What’s the warranty on the LED Controller?

The Gledopto Zigbee LED Controller is covered by a 1-year warranty.

Great product. I’m using two of these with ZHA in Home Assistant and haven’t had any issues at all. Both are in my kitchen, each running a separate led strip. I wired the strips straight to the controller and power them with a 24V 300W power supply from Amazon since the strips are fairly long. They’re used daily through automations and an RF remote I bought separately here.

  7. Works well. I paired it with an SM308S unit to allow Homekit control, as this unit alone was not Homekit compatible (although it is seen and controllable using the Hue app)
