Description
The SM323-ZG module is the bare PCB version of our SM323 V2 Zigbee dimmer – the same proven hardware used in our flagship Zigbee rotary dimmer, supplied without a faceplate or knob. Designed for installers and customers who already own a designer wall plate, or who want to retrofit smart Zigbee control inside an existing UK wall switch.
Native Zigbee 3.0 device that pairs directly with Home Assistant (Zigbee2MQTT / ZHA), SmartThings, Hubitat, Philips Hue Bridge, and any other Zigbee 3.0 hub. Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit (through your hub’s HomeKit bridge). Every module also acts as a Zigbee 3.0 mesh router – the more SM323-ZG modules you install, the more resilient and far-reaching your Zigbee network becomes.

Great product
The v2 Zigbee dimmer connected with my Hue Zigbee hub with no problems. Great that the size is smaller and supports more flexible wiring options!
Small niggles. I was hoping to fit two of these in an an existing dimmer switch using the existing front plate but the dimmers are fractionally too wide to fit, (potentially I could file the plate to adapt). Also the threaded mount that goes through the front plate is 1 or 2mm longer than on the v1 which prevents my existing knob from being able to be pushed. Fine with their own knob.

Ordered the zigbee dimmer modules, operate faster/smoother than originals, still a little too wide for most off the shelf face plates but better than previous version. Shame there isn’t a chrome faceplate version.
The actual dimmer is the best on the market. I’m planning on having these controlling every single light in my house. The face plates are a bit cheap feeling, but there are loads of options around that.
