The Samotech team went above and beyond for me with this purchase: I’m from Australia and had been looking all over for a ZigBee pull cord dimmer and decided to buy this unit. It turns out the shipping was considerably more than the switch itself, so I left a question asking if there’s any other shipping options. Then, given the wait for stock and the time difference I decided to purchase it anyway.
Imagine my surprise when the samotech team got back to me after the unit had shipped with a partial refund as they had found a cheaper shipping method. You really can’t beat that sort of customer service.

Just dropping in to share my thoughts on this nifty pull cord switch. The installation was a no-fuss affair, reusing the same wires as my previous switch, so no any rewiring needed. The standout feature for me is the black metal pull – it’s sleek, stylish, and really upgrades the look of my bathroom, especially after having a plastic pull for so long. But the real game-changer? It doubles as a dimmer! This has been fantastic for creating my new day and night lighting automations for bathroom, as I’ve already had dimmable LED bulbs in place. Syncing it with my Hue hub was super easy, and it works exactly as expected. Big thumbs up from my side!
